Did you know that Hayward has a FREE public Montessori High School?
We are the newest public high school in Hayward,
we are still accepting 9th and 10th grade students for the coming school year, free to all registered students.

SILVER OAK HIGH SCHOOL is starting classes on August 26th and we still have openings for students
(max 100 students, 9th-10th grade, 11th-12th grade begins 2014-2015)
SOHS is the newest public high school in Hayward, and we are not full yet,
so there is still room for more students at the ONLY FREE Montessori public high school in the entire East Bay.

Do you want a great education for your children? Come see what we are all about:
self-reliance, time management, teamwork, all in a supportive Montessori environment, with smaller class sizes.

Don’t miss out on the chance to get a free Montessori education right here in Hayward!
Silver Oak grew out of efforts to establish Golden Oak Elementary/Middle School, that has topped the school district scores since 2010.
But what is a Montessori high school?  Come and find out why President Obama recognized one public Montessori high school as the
#2 high school in the entire U.S., Clark Montessori, with 100% graduation…and that is the school that is our model.
High school years are tough on kids, so they need all the support they can get.
Business leaders like Jeff Bezos of Amazon cite Montessori education as a major influence in their development.

Hayward should be on the map as THE place to come for an exceptional free public education, and all of us can make it happen.
